Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Dr. Grace Buckman

Welcome back friends! As you may already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so I’m back on my trusted white couch with Dr Grace Buckman of Sonotech who is not only a medical doctor, but a breast cancer advocate.

In today’s video you will learn

4:26: How breast cancer develops silently

5:32: The importance of self-examination

9:57: How to self-examine your breasts

15:10: How often you should get a clinical screening, depending on your age group

20:59: If the history of other lymphatic cancers could be connected to breast cancer

With breast cancer, as with many cancerous diseases, early detection guarantees a 100% survival rate.

This month, I’ll be getting screened and encourage you to do so as well.

If you’re interested in other illnesses that affect women in particular, my Fibroid Symptoms & Risk Factors video is a good place to start

I also sat down with Jessica Nabongo of The Catch Me If You Can last year, to discuss our respective fibroid journeys.

When was the last time you got screened for breast cancer?
